To accelerate the pace of development by working with rural populace and also through voluntary organizations/ institutions in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in particular. It believes in supporting directly and also innovative gross root organizations that target marginalized groups, under privileged and people below poverty line living especially in far and inaccessible areas.

• Facilitate transformation of traditional farming systems into a commercial and technology based sustainable enterprise to maximize farmers resource base in Farmer-Govt-Bank-Institution Partnership mode ( FGBIP)
• Amelioration of environment through Eco-friendly approach on rural sanitation and human hygiene.
• Exploration, collection, identification of biodiversity and their in-situ and ex-situ conservation.
• Management of natural resources in the fragile-Himalayan Eco-system with focus on natural farming, rain water harvesting, water shed management, climate change and renewable sources of energy.
• Free, easy and instant access to information.
• Sharing of ideas amongst NGO’s, Development agencies and other participants through seminars, workshop, visits etc.
• Identify and address technical needs of the farmers and to provide cluster level skill trainings for the unemployed rural youths at village level.
• Conceptualization of special projects for placement linked skill development of educated rural/ urban youth of J&K State.
